On the Road with the Road Trip Class

INTRODUCTION
This online book was written by the students in the American Road Trip class as a midterm project. The assignment was to write a chapter that combined three elements: a personal road trip story, a discussion of a theme in one of the road trip narratives we read, and research into the history of roads and road tripping. (Readers can navigate through the book by going to a particular chapter using this Table of Contents, and there are also links at the bottom of each page.)
